Venue Hire / Private Function

We can accommodate a wide range of functions such as wedding / civil partnership receptions, birthday or anniversary parties, corporate hire or a wake. The Lion Hotel offers a unique bar and restaurant space with a stunning large outdoor courtyard which can be adapted to suit your exact requirements. Our kitchen can serve a full sit down menu or a range of buffet options instead.

Private hire of the venue is popular and we would recommend getting in touch with us as soon as possible so we can work with you to plan your special event. We can provide the venue, catering options, entertainment and even quirky extras such as a prosecco van!

  • 11 ensuite bedrooms available, 4 of which are stunning king and super king superior rooms. Need more rooms? We can arrange preferential rates in another nearby hotel.
  • Premium entertainment options including DJ, disco, singers, bands and tribute acts.
  • Quirky special extras such as a mobile prosecco van in the courtyard, fun photo booths or even a sweet stall cart.

Meeting Room Hire

We have a private meeting room which is available during the week to hire. We offer complimentary WIFI, pens, paper, flipchart and a large TV screen for presentations and videos. Our kitchen team can offer their full breakfast, lunch or main menu throughout the day for your guests.
